Lian - Advanced Trainer, Cascade Trainer and Parent Group Facilitator. The experience and skill developed through working with families from policy to home visiting, is the perfect base for Lian to be able to compare and contrast trainings, interventions and ways of being with infants, children and adults. Through this lens she blends her passion, compassion, and skill with her special way of connecting so that those around her are unknowingly immersed in the Solihull Approach experience.
If you are looking for a training that is all inclusive with benefits for the whole team including management, I am confident that The Solihull Approach will meet your expectations.

Solihull Training
What is it?
The Solihull Approach synthesises three core psychological constructs with the aim of supporting an understanding of behaviours within the context of a relationship.
It provides a thinking framework to help navigate difficult conversations and dysregulated behaviours. As a relational model, it applies to any interactional relationship and therefore maintains relevance across the lifespan.
Initially developed for practitioners working with families, it has expanded to offer training courses from the antenatal phase through to adolescence and adulthood. With an understanding of origins of behaviours, including trauma, the trainings equip practitioners to understand how to best promote emotional regulation and reflection in self and others.
It is not an intervention. Rather the Solihull Approach offers understanding in any situation, to promote quality interactions and relationships, including consumers/service users, the workplace with colleagues or when interacting with other agencies.
